Blog EntryNEWS FLASH: Lapel Flag Pins OK To Wear AgainApr 15, '08 11:13 PM
for everyone

For any of you who, like Barack Obama, stopped wearing American flag pins on your lapel because they are silly and not a genuine expression of support for your country, you can relax now.  Apparently as of today, it is OK to wear them again.

I just thought I'd let you all know.

Oh thanks! I will get a few extra to wear too.

I might believe it when I see him cross his heart during the singing of the American Anthem.

Oh I don't believe the pin being there means anything, except that he thinks it will get him a few more votes from the dumb rednecks in PA. ;)

You mean the gun toting red necks?, ;).

Yeah, I knew why he's wearing it. And I bet his Muslim friends won't like it though.

The ones "clinging to guns and religion", yeah, those would be the ones. :)

I guess I am one of them!

I am getting even more bitter about being one here in Pa, so now I have to buy yet ANOTHER gun, the one yesterday was not enough to satisfy my Pa, redneck bitterness.

Lee don't worry when Obama is elected he will get you a good job working in a factory or perhaps mining coal. That's what all you rednecks really need to be happy, you know.

hold on there jvon.
beer is also nessicar
jvon wrote on Apr 16
Well obviously beer too, and Nascar probably fits in there somewhere also.

But this is Obama's theory, that the loss of those (really pretty shitty) jobs is what people are so upset about, and what makes them interested in guns and religion.

Wait rednecks in PA?! grrrrr, no I left the South to get away from that crap. They are just insulated from the real world here.

Hey, don't get mad at me, it was Obama who was talking about the "people" in the small towns in PA that were like this.

I wonder if they were "typical white people"? Or are those different people?
blackaliss wrote on Apr 16
Maybe...he obviously sees things here I don't. Does he have super xray vision?
jvon wrote on Apr 16
I think it's more like he's been fed fairy tales about white people in that church of his.
blackaliss wrote on Apr 16
Ohhh so he's been reading the black fairy book?
